You have been introduced to Rodger Stearns in the short biography on our home page, but there is more about the violin shop you may want to know.
Robert Stearns, the vice president of Stearns Violins Inc., is the manager of the rentals and school services department. He has worked with his father, Rodger Stearns, for over eight years. He also worked for about two years for Seman Violins in Chicago. Robert does expert setup work and has become a very exacting and proficient restorer. He is married to Jessica (Byrd) Stearns, a prominent Suzuki violin teacher in the area.
Eunice Stearns is the lovely lady in Rodger’s life. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing , and is currently employed at Mercy Medical Center as an infection control nurse. You may occasionally speak to her on the phone as she assists us with keeping the business running smoothly.
Cellos are a passion in Stearns Violin Shop. Pictured below are a few of the cellos we have for sale (see products page for descriptions and prices.) Our stock is constantly changing and growing. We keep a large selection of moderately priced cellos at all times. The instruments hanging above are some of our violins and violas.
Bows can be as diverse as violins. Therefore we carry moderately priced student bows as well as a fine selection of professional quality modern and antique bows.
